2019 Honda Insight Ready to Change the Way You Go Green

Honda has been introducing more and more eco-friendly vehicle options in its lineup, and it doesn’t look like it will stop any time soon – especially with the 2019 Honda Insight making its big debut earlier this year. This brand-new hybrid sedan is combining a green powertrain with exceptional style to give the competition a run for its money.

Looks and Technology

The Insight is considered a compact car, sitting just between the Civic and Accord in Honda’s lineup with three trim levels to choose from. It has a sharp, sculpted exterior style thanks to its wide stance and signature “flying wing” grille, while its interior offers a premium feel with a slew of innovative features including standard Bluetooth®, Pandora® internet radio, and an available 8-inch touchscreen with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto smartphone capability.

Power and Efficiency

Under the hood, you will find a powerful hybrid powertrain. This set up combines an efficient 1.5-liter Atkinson cycle engine with an electric propulsion motor and a lithium-ion battery pack to put out a peppy 151 horsepower and 197 lb-ft of torque.

Get Ready

The 2019 Insight will be manufactured alongside the Civic and CR-V at the brand’s Greensburg, Indiana plant. Its battery unit will be assembled at its Marysville Auto Plant in Ohio. This hybrid sedan is expected to launch at dealerships across the United States in early summer.
